Happy Mom's Day MOm and a Happy 26th Wedding Anniversary mom and dad

Yesterday we decided to take my parents to the Long Beach Aquarium for Mother's Day and their anniversary. Unfortunately Katie and Jimmy had to work and couldn't join us. We had a fantastic time. I don't get to see my parents interact with Aiden quite enough so when I do it mean s alot to me. Aiden seemed to really enjoy himself and my mom seemed to really enjoy showing Aiden all the fish. He got scared once when the Sea Lion swam up to the glass he was peering through, bu tother than that Aidenwas Mr Curious.

After the aquarium we went to Lunner (lunch and dinner) at PF Chang's. YUMMO!!! Then we walked down the to "ocean" because Aiden wanted to see it. He kept asking us for the ocean all day. We walked down the pier and watched some boats come in. Well at least that is what we were saying we were doing. IN reallity I was watching Aiden like a hawk afraid he would fall into the water. Luckily Aiden got to enjoy the ocean and the boats and mommy didn't have to take a swin in the cold ocean.

My parents decided that they wanted to stop by the Beach Shack on the way home so we stopped in to visit GG and Uncle Steve for a little bit. They were napping when we rang the doorbell, but were ver hospitable and exciting to see all of us. Aiden enjoyed playing with Bella and Alexa's toys. He especially like the doll house in the upstairs closet and the princess piano in the Harry Potter room (the room under the stair case).

It was an extremely nice day. Although we did miss out on seeing all the babies at Larry and Roseanna's for the fight and Kara's birthday. It seems sometimes we have to choose where to be and no matter what we choose somebody will always feel left out.
