Monday evening we broke out the one toy I was super excited about. Uncle Brian, Aunt Char, Brooke and Brian gave us this contraption at my baby shower. I kept begging Jimmy to put it together, and he finally did. Although Aiden can't really play with it yet he likes sitting in it and he can hit the little piano and make it play music. Thanks again guys.
Thurs night Uncle Brian, Aunt Char, Brooke and Brian came over for dinner in between the kids soccer practice. Aiden was an angel for them and I didn't think Aunt Char would ever put him down. Those two played together all night. It was great seeing everyone and showing off how big Aiden has gotten and how "alert" he is now. Oh yeah and showing off the great toy the gave Aiden.
Today, my Aunt, Aiden and I went to visit my Grandma Kemper. It was the second time she has seen the baby and she was absolutely adorable with him. She compared him to his newborn picture and kept commenting on how much he has grown. It was great to see her and I am glad that she is able to hold Aiden and see him grow.
Well we will be celebrating Aiden's first Labor Day this weekend. Right now we don't have any plans but I am sure that will change. Look for our Aiden update next week. He is fussing right now so I need to go tend to him. I love that little guy so much!!!!
We also celebrated Grandpa Mando's birthday this week, but I forgot my camera and don't have any pictures of this. I know I can't believe I forgot my camera. We had our weekly visits from Grandma Barbie and Grandad Craig this week too.
We missed Grandma She She this week because she has been dealing with a lot of emotional stuff at work. It seems that the street racing accident in Eagle Rock Wed night that killed 4 kids effected one of our Ralphs stores. The 2 sisters, brother and unborn child were relatives of a long time team member at one of our Ralphs locations. Mom has been trying to get counselors into the store for everyone to talk to and to get the Union, Ralphs, and the foundation to help the family pay for 4 funerals. It seems the parents of the kids were on vacation in Hawaii and the kids were staying with their Grandma. I know this is a very sad thing and doesn't have anything to do with Aiden but I thought I would share this with everyone because life is too short for drama and we all need to remember how valuable our life is and the lives of our loved ones. Please everyone be careful out there...drive safely and remember we love you all!!!!
